Dr. Bistrong is licensed psychologist in New York. She is a pediatric neuropsychologist at NYU Langone Rusk Rehabilitation where she provides assessments for children with congenital and acquired brain and central nervous system insults. She also sees assessment clients in her Private Practice, located in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn.

Dr. Bistrong obtained her Ph.D. at the University of Virginia in Clinical Psychology in 2019. She then completed a residency and two year postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at Henry Ford Health System where she honed her expertise in pediatric neuropsychology. Dr. Bistrong has developed clinical expertise working with a wide variety of cases ranging from students with learning differences to students with complex medical conditions.

Dr. Bistrong is detail-oriented in her approach to assessment, treatment, and recommendations, with high sensitivity to each family’s context and stressors. Her evaluations and recommendations are tailored to the unique needs of the family. Her reports contain detailed descriptions of each child’s unique profile and recommendations based on their strengths and weaknesses. Dr. Bistrong works with her patients after the assessment process to assist with treatment planning and advocacy.

Dr. Bistrong provides a warm and nurturing environment for her patients. Her office is child friendly, equipped with toys for use during breaks, comfortable seating, and a waiting room for parents. There are excellent restaurants nearby for lunch and snack breaks.
